Carbon Tube

SPECIFICATION

Precision tube is manufactured from cold drawing coil NZCC-SD to AS/NZS 1365.

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES

Coil tensile strength expected 290 -365 Mpa.
Tensile strength typical 340 Mpa. Elongation expected 34% minimum. HRB Hardness expected 40-60.

LENGTHS

Precision tube standard length is 5.5m but available ex-mill rolling in various lengths. Heavy wall SHS and RHS available in 6.0m lengths but available ex-mill rolling in various lengths.

ROLL CAGE TUBE

Hot Rolled Pickeled Tube manufactured in compliance with the Motorsport MSNZ- Q29. Mill test certificates provided on request. C350 38.1mm available in 5.5m and C350 44.5mm available in 4m lengths.

ALUMINISED TUBE

Manufactured from ASM A 463 coil with T1 -25 coating. Standard and perforated tube is available in 5m.
