3D LASER CUTTER LT7

Our state-of-the-art Laser Tube cutter, LT7, offers a highly reliable quality and cut accuracy from any design. Whether it’s a one-off design or mass-produced item, we can ensure quality. Evolve your design in 3D using CAD software to ensure the best manufacturing outcomes and guaranteed accuracy in metal production. The LT7 uses a 3kW Fibre laser and a 3D Tube Cutter cutting head which can process round, square, rectangle and open profile tubes (carbon, stainless and galvanised) and profiles up to 23kg/m in weight and from 12mm to 152,4mm in diameter. With capacity up to 5000kg of tube lengths between 1.9m to 6.5m no job is too big or small.

ROTARY AXIS TUBE LASER CUTTING

Suitable for both small batches and large runs, our dedicated rotary axis laser cutting machine is perfect for thin wall round tubes up to 120mm in diameter. Using an automatic process, from the selection of stock lengths to the measurement of tubing, part programming of the rotary axis laser is done through CAD CAM software linked with SolidWorks or similar 3D model drawing packages. This ensures complex parts can be processed quickly, easily and accurately.

CNC DRILLING

CNC drilling machine is the perfect solution for tubular products that require multiple precision holes, including flow drilling and tapping. Often used to create holes for bolts and screws required for product assembly. Equipped with an automatic tool change, which allows up to six different drill bit sizes in a single set-up, our CNC drilling machine comes with a bed size of 4.5m x 0.4m. This size allows for multiple parts to be stacked across the bed and processed in batches without losing quality control.

PRECISION CUTTING DEBURRING AND MITRE CUTTING

Our precision cutting produces clean, square and accurate cuts economically. The BLM TS72 CNC Saw can cut both round and square tubing from 12-102mm with a +/- 0.5mm tolerance. Bundle loading, with nesting, reduces material waste. Wirebrush deburring removes a build-up of burrs, rough and sharp edges and other imperfections from a finished surface. This will provide a smooth, slightly rounded cut end for a burr-free result. Deburring is ideal when powder coating and electroplating is required and is seen as a key step to ensure a quality finished product.

SWAGING AND TELESCOPING

Manipulating tube size and shape is made easy with our rotary hammering process, standard swaging and telescopic tube calculations. Telescope tube is used where additional strength is required, or pieces of material need to sleeve or expand inside one another. Common uses for telescope tube are tent poles, extension arms, shop-fittings, tables, adjustable legs and architectural features. The internal tube can be of any nominated wall thickness however the telescoping tube (external) must be of 1.2mm wall thickness.

TAPERING

Tube (external) must be of 1.2mm wall thickness. Depending on your requirements we can taper tubes, swag (expand or reduce tubes) using a variety of standard dies or customise to your specifications.
