UltraTube

UltraTube offers significantly greater yield strength than conventional mild steel grades.

UltraTube is a high-performance steel tube made from advanced dual-phase (DP) steel. Its ferrite–martensite microstructure offers a unique combination of high strength, good ductility, and excellent weldability.

It maintains a good level of formability, excellent weld-ability, a smooth surface finish, and highly consistent mechanical properties.

Enables thinner-wall designs in frames, components, and load-bearing structures where strength and durability are critical.

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES

Tensile strength typical 780 Mpa.

SIZES AND LENGTH

Round from 22.2mm – 44.5mm, from 1.6 – 2.5mm. UltraTube standard length is 5.5m but available ex-mill rolling in various lengths. Other profiles are available on application.
